Froome at 16s or so. Don't know what group he gets in. Definitely loses a bit.
He looks fat. By his standards anyway. Probably aiming to be in peak condition in the third week, but he could be out of contention by then.

As dull as the two sprint stages in Israel. Dull stage, exciting finish.

Nice victory for Tim Wellens!

Confirmation that Kirby called Battaglin Bennet about 29 times
They did on Spanish Eurosport as well - must have been getting dodgy info.. Also mistaking Van der Sande for Wellens at various points, like they have done in every single stage so far.

Don't know how the co-commentator (Brian Smith) kept his cool with him shrieking inaccurately in his ear ...

Did PozzoVivo gain on any rivals?
No. (except if you count Froome, since he probably wasnt there.) Most of the big favs in 4s group. Yates and Woods positives on that (-4s), Froome possible worse

Enrico Battaglin is really great in these types of finishes. Last year in the Giro, he was also one of the best in the two stages with short uphill climbs.

And good with some gaps. Makes the race more open.

Same by the German commentator. Maybe Kirby was shouting too loud? :D

I thought I saw blood on Froome's elbow, but the shot was super brief.
I think it might have been from his crash in the ITT reckon.

Btw, was that Schachmann 15th or so? That seems impossible.
