In whose bag is the queen stage of this Giro

I don't know, he might not. But then we have seen crazier things final TTs. And Tao > Hindley in TTs.

But even if its only 30s he will lose, he needs to make them up first. And if we assume Keldermann and Tao are equal in the TT, Hindley is only the better strategy than Keldermann if he can do 3:11 better than him in the stages still to come before the TT.

And basically I doubt that. Again, nothing personal at all.
Kelderman will probably do better than Tao in the TT, so he just has to restrict his losses here to 2' or so.

And for TGH to put 2+ minutes into Kelderman on the final climb, he'll probably have to ditch Dennis and climb himself. And when he starts doing that, he makes it easier for Hindley to gain time near the top.

As I type this, Kelderman's gap is growing.
