Thats like 1600 VAM for 70 min ending at 2760m.That's a hell of a time for such a beast.
Probably Rohan Dennis best climbing performance ever.
I'm not surprised. Dennis has had pretensions to go for GC in the past, and don't forget the TdS last year. He's capable of pulling off a performance like this at least once per GT, I think.I'd like to say something but I'm still at a loss for words after Dennis destroyed everyone up the Stelvio.
"Weak level".Thats like 1600 VAM for 70 min ending at 2760m.
Basically Bernal Iseran except literally twice as long in a waayyy harder stage.
Dennis was in the break so his time is more like 71 mins.So it was 1 Rohan Dennis?
Hatch in the throws of orgasm.Shut up Hatch
Swift and Ganna were in the break, Dennis was yesterday.Dennis was in the break so his time is more like 71 mins.
Kelderman will probably do better than Tao in the TT, so he just has to restrict his losses here to 2' or so.I don't know, he might not. But then we have seen crazier things final TTs. And Tao > Hindley in TTs.
But even if its only 30s he will lose, he needs to make them up first. And if we assume Keldermann and Tao are equal in the TT, Hindley is only the better strategy than Keldermann if he can do 3:11 better than him in the stages still to come before the TT.
And basically I doubt that. Again, nothing personal at all.
