I think it's this climb from Pecetto Torinese (so minus the first 3,5 km), but I could be wrongStill looks good to me honestly how steep is Maddallena
Okay I definitely like that circuit better, though I'd like to see the original lenght or 3 laps instead of 2I think it's this climb from Pecetto Torinese (so minus the first 3,5 km), but I could be wrong

Whos even gonna ride the Giro? Accoring to PCS, its Carapaz, Almeida, Valverde, Tao, Landa, Simon...
Primoz? That you?Aight, its looking like quite a strong lineup actually eh.
Kelderman, Buchmann, Kämna, Hindley, Nibali, MAL, Foss, Dumoulin, Ciccone, Carthy, Valter...
Masnada.![]()
The poster asked who was gonna ride... not who was gonna win![]()
Bit hard to win if you don't ride, eh?
The original wasnt even good but this is garbage. Genova can evem have good 1 or 2 climb stages.Really too bad that they don't seize the opportunity to use all the hills surrounding Genova to create a real cracker of a 230+ km medium mountain stage. Wouldn't be a problem with the sequence of the stages either since the preceeding and following stage both are flat.
Ohwell lets look at the positivesIt's sick, it's piss...
When it comes to Giro design, I'm disappointed by the focus on shorter mountain stages with steeper finish climbs the last couple of years, but my main issue is the constant underutilization of the hilly terrain in the Apennines. Regions like Abruzzo, Emilio Romagna, Toscana and Liguria is packed with these type of climbs. Should be used much more frequently for tougher and longer mountain stages than it has been in recent Giro history. The original wasnt even good but this is garbage. Now we get a bunch sprint
So many good climbs and regions in Italy going underused. When it comes to Giro design, I'm disappointed by the focus on shorter mountain stages with steeper finish climbs the last couple of years, but my main issue is the constant underutilization of the hilly terrain in the Apennines. And the terrain south/southwest of the cities/towns from Bologna to Cesena in Emilia Romagna is very well suited for an awesome hilly stage. It's a a shame really to have a stage like this in that area now. The area around Reggio Emilia and Parma is perfect for some proper mid-mountain stages, especially the area between Parma/Reggio and La Spezia, not that far away from where last year's stage 4 led through. Loads of potential...

Not our official thread, but a decent preview all the same.
