Le Grand Bornand wasn't that amazing. The winner was already decided, it was one attack for the Schlecks to pop off, after that it was just Schlecks taking turns and Contador dropping his own teammate for Contador reasons.

Kloden told Contador to attack that day. Kloden promptly bonked after the attack.
