The 2012 Tour was bad, but not as bad as the 2012/22 Giro's IMO. At least in the 2012 Tour there was action on most of the mountain stages, I would say 2016/17 Tours were worse IMO
Yeah, in 2012 the infamous Sky train was still a relative novelty and was actually used to shred the peloton to pieces, not as a deterrent of attacks it morphed into later down the line.

I've really enjoyed the Giro, shame about all the DNF's but it's been nice to see some other riders battling it out, GT GCs are rarely classic battles, anything above a lot of passive looking round is a bonus and it's just bad luck that the makeup of the race hasn't really justified big attacks (yet, at least).

Forgot about the 2007 and 09 Vuelta's, they were pretty poor. (I'm sorry to the many Valverde fans on here)

I know they are not related but Marco Frigo's name always gives me good nostalgia vibes from the early days of the millennia when italian riders dominated the Giro (no ethical considerations included).
Always assumed he was some relation of Dario's

Does any GC guy try something on that ramp? Surely someone will give it an attempt (please)
