Eddie should attack the last climb today, don't think they would get together a concerted chase for him and maybe someone will go with.

No one has it as their right that other riders, the peloton as a whole, must move to the side and give them a clear lane. Ask any sprinter that. If you want to be in a good enough position, you must fight for it.

The question is by what means riders are allowed to defend their position and to fight others for theirs.

EDIT: If you want room, make room. Like Sagan did on Kemmelberg in 2016 or 2017(?).

As if there is no way to distinguish fighting for position and actively blocking the road at a low speed.
And I mean yeah, as you wrote, the question is by what means riders are allowed to defend their position. I just think blocking the entire width of the road with your team is clearly a step too far.

I'd be looking at Albanese in that group. Can climb well enough that he might hold on and a good sprinter

He is good but I think it will be difficult for him to follow Healy, McNulty, Rubio and Mollema if they start to attack each other from the bottom of the last climb.

Healy trying to impersonate Remco to give the race back its spice. Can Ireland win the World Cup?
