As far as I know, bonus seconds usually aren't awarded in time trials or prologues, if that is what you are thinking.
Susan

Nah, but it means he can really push himself, finish 8 seconds down from the winner, win the sprint the next day and then get the jersey. Without time bonii all the ITT winner has to do is finish in the bunch.

hmm, I could substitute Jack Bobridge vor Cam Meyer, since they are the same price.
Does any of you guys know both and can tell me who's the better pick for a top 20 result??

i'd go with bobridge, and have thought of him as a good outside chance

Does anyone know what time the prologue kicks off on Saturday? Usually Steephill keeps me in the know, but even they're keeping it secret this time ...

Vino wants to win this stage and wear maglia rosa for a while, if he can. I'm betting on him to do it with his current good form, and then struggle in the 3rd week.

Loved that article! What a city that puts the actual Giro logo on the prewarning signboards. :)

Nice quasi-fascist statue in the last pic.

All that just made me miss Old 'Spam! I should drive up there sometime soon :)

Yes, the Nazis were very successful in stealing symbols.

I assume this isn't televised in the US? Steephill.tv is the best bet for viewing?

Universal Sports. Web and TV. Many media markets have US available over the air.

Yeah, don't think I'm getting that on DirecTV anymore. Glad it's on the web, their commentators are actually useful to listen to. Thanks!

I scrolled ahead to Saturday on my Universal Sports channel and program description showed they will air 2009 Giro hi-lights and participant interviews.
I hope this is incorrect.

Thanks for the recon !

Nearly fell of the chair when scrolling and LA gave "the look"...something creepy there ..

Cadel could win, but he'll let peacock Vino' take it and let Astana do all work in the first week.

the signs showed up around a week or two ago.

someone must have been chuckling to themselves when they choose apollolaan for one of the locations.

I don't suppose anybody is interested, even assuming a net feed can be found, but the team presentation is on both RAITRE and Rai Sport at 17-00CET.
