As far as I know, bonus seconds usually aren't awarded in time trials or prologues, if that is what you are thinking.

Nah, but it means he can really push himself, finish 8 seconds down from the winner, win the sprint the next day and then get the jersey. Without time bonii all the ITT winner has to do is finish in the bunch.

I scrolled ahead to Saturday on my Universal Sports channel and program description showed they will air 2009 Giro hi-lights and participant interviews.
