Astana, BMC, Liquigas, A&S must all be playing chicken with each other, see which team will be first to get their troops to the front

So, who has the best chance to win Giro now? I am now starting to think about Cervelo 1-2 :) And Arroyo in 3rd place

they aren't going to win with those four so that is just idiotic.
Agreed, and if they stay there Liquigas won't have anyone to do the chasing. Some really special tactics there...

Should keep one up there and drop the others back and bookwalter should drop back as well.

Wrong. Liquigas has 4 riders in the breakway...Agnoli/Dall'Antonia/Kiserlovski/Vanotti

Liquigas should pull them (except Agnoli) back to the "peloton" to help the chase. They even have time to stop and get a cup of tea and a piece of cake while they're waiting.

Not idiotic. Liquigas have 4 riders in the break. 1 has abandoned this Giro so they have 4 in groupa maglia rosa.

2 of those ar Ivan Basso and Nibali. They need at least 1 of the others to dwo the food and drink duty that means they could possibly sacrifice only 1 rider to ride on the front- and for what incentive? They have Agnoli and the croat who have proven very decent in the first week they have no need to ride on the front- whereas Aqua Sapone, BMC, Androni and Astana all have much greater incentive and need to ride on the front to reel some time back.

Look its already too late to reel this group back given the size, current advantage, parcours and calibre of rider in this group. Its a question of damage limitation for the big favourites. My guess is they'll be happy if the break comes in with 6 - 8 minutes at the end given the size of the break. Even then it pulls a lot of riders i.e. Tondo, Sastre, Arroyo back into contention.

How stupid can you get letting go of that sort of group go
Absolute suicide for Vino Evans Nibali Basso Cunego Scarponi and Garzelli
they simply must talk to each oth now and do a ttt with all there teams left to limit the gap to 6-7 minutes by the end of the stage

how long till liquigas astana and the other teams pull men back to save what chances they have left!

and now Sastre going to be around that much ahead (if its stays at 16seconds) - hes not the one you give that sort advantage to

whoever attacks now out of Vino Evans Nibali Basso Cunego Scarponi and Garzelli to minimise the damage will win the Giro
