Wouter Weylandt (QST, winner stage 3) really was ill when he quit the Giro. In fact, he was so ill he was admitted to the ER on Friday night with severe dehydration. He'd already lost 5 kilograms by that point. QST's doctor thinks the worst will be over after this weekend. I hope so!
At least. I can't see them average 30kph for the rest of the stage.Ferminal said:Oh 80km to go still... That will be at least 2.5 hrs?

Steampunk said:The aerial footage just showed a Rabobank rider. I'm embarrassed to confess that I'd forgotten they were even in the Giro. They've been pretty anonymous.

Walkman said:Haha, I read about Rabo yesterday and it was like - "No way they're in the Giro!!" And then I checked it and was like "WTF?!" So either am I not paying enough attention to the Giro (trying to watch some everyday) or thy have been VERY anonymous, take your pick!
