So Rabo are a bunch of nobodies is that right Timmy and Dek_Tif. U had given up on them at half way now somehow they blitz it in the second half.... conditions the same???

Prolly not or Rabo would have been way further behind.
But they start in order of Team classification so you can make sure you start in the same conditions as the favorites by performing in the first few stages.

Again, when did I say "I'm so smart"?

As for the point, refer to ak-zaaf's latest post, among others

this conditions issue is bs. If BMC were good enough they would have been starting later.

Teams who took initiative and worked there asses off on the last 2 days got rewarded.

It appears to me that BMC's performance in the last stage is hurting Cadel more today then their performance today.

Apparently conditions improved... everyone is flying in the second half now. It seems probable that had BMC started later in the day, they'd have been a bit closer to the leaders.

Still hilights the weakness of the team... just not in terms of how they rode the bikes this morning.

Rabobank ahead BMC :D:D

Im laughing so hard right now I think I am going to die

It is clearly a lot drier now then it was to begin with, past the 1st 5km there is no rain by the end the road is bone dry. This was not the case for the 1st few teams out

Suck it up powder!! Its racing!! Too bad for the early starters...sucks to be them...JEEZ
They were having a go at ACF about him expecting the Rabo newfies to do a good ride now they do a good ride and they say I told you so. I know its racing BMC did a good ride no-one was expecting them to be within 1.10 of Sky, so I put that down as a win.

Hey! Shut up with the Aussie-Dutch BS.

The bad circumstances in the first half are certainly affecting the results. Most of the teams riding now are quite slow in the first half.

Astana is keeping pace with Liquigas and Columbia to the time check, but all the gaps seem to be being made in the second half of the course.

Everybody is going slower than Katusha etc in the first part though.

So you can't say if BMC had a disadvantage here. I think this is 'koffiedik kijken' as we say in Dutch. Like looking into a crystal ball
