The TDU has an excellent start list with no clear favourite - It features 39 Aussie/NZer's which shows their depth in the WT peleton - The only Aussie missing is Haig who has never returned to Australia after turning pro in 2016. The race also has changed complexion with the opening prologue of 5.5kms which will create small gaps in GC - Mt Lofty stage is harder than it looks on paper - Names to throw up for GC are Yates,O'Connor, Bilbao, Cattaneo, Hayter, Dennis, Schmid, Storer, Plapp, Hindley, Bettiol and Covi.
Reckon Hayter will take the prologue.
