Guess you missed the one on his Home Run Record ball.

Barry Bonds ball goes to the Hall, asterisk and all

That is a ball defaced by a Hater.
You probably have Lance posters defaced too lol.

Reading comprehension is not your strong point.
I said there are no official lists with an asterisk that I could find....

Here is the Official Home Run List from MLB fyi:

So, should it not happen because of the "waste of taxpayer dollars"? Kids and hardened pros dream of a legacy that outlasts their performance days; it's not always only about the payout. Seeing an asterisk alongside all of these performances will have some impact. Again, though; they weren't after Bonds alone; they were after the source. If Bonds had convinced them he told the truth we wouldn't be having this discussion. Perjury before a grand jury has never been an easy charge to escape.

Barry will be inducted right after the Pete Rose celebration. Maybe the two will go in together.

Dave.

Pete Rose. Very fast. Lots of speed.

Henry AAron is the man. If I find the song that is out about him I will put it on here. I hate even seeing Bonds. His face hurts me.

I don't exactly see Barry Bonds driving to and from the trial in a Limo, wearing a 2500dollar leather jacket, 1000 dollar shoes, banging a playmate on the side and breaking records, is in any fashion an impediment against juicing for naive teenage jocks. IMO.

Well, it MIGHT be an impediment for the naive teenage jocks.

But I am not so sure about the super aggressive/competitive teenage jocks and their parents....

But maybe the trial will inspire some of them to become Pro Lawyers?
Defense or Offense.

Or Novitzsky inspires some kid to come up with a cure for salmonella?
That would be cool.

Maybe not for aspiring Jersey Shore actors. On the other hand, did you expect him to arrive in a Prius and wearing sackcloth?

I wouldn't say that is a disaster at all.

i too missed the disaster. he hated needles but he's injecting things left and right? did he think they were injecting flaxseed oil, seriously? i feel stupid even typing that.

the occassional use of prescribed corticosteroids (probably for anti-inflammatory purposes from the orthopedist) may have similar side effects to chronic anabolic androgenic steroid (AAS) abuse? that's a stretch.

this case is a slam dunk.

I agree with you.

Anyone is free to think that the prosecution bungled with Ting. But, what if they actually expected him to say what he did?

How could that help them?

Hoskins has reconfirmed that a non-medical professional was observed injecting a non-prescribed restricted substance into Barry Bonds.

Ting has confirmed that:
1. Unlike the Giambi's, Bonds would not inject himself
2. He did not prescribe these restricted substances

Sounds like he actually confirmed all the testimony to date.

Bonds was paying someone to provide illegal meds without any medical approval or supervision.

He lied to the Grand Jury.

Dave.

Dave.

And I agree with both of you too.

Well, at least this case SHOULD be a Slam Dunk.
Barry was Doping to the Gills and then some.
And not just simple blood transfusions - but HGH and Designer Steroids.

So, how long have the Feds been working on this case?
Years and years and years.
Millions and millions and millions of dollars
The Vaunted Feds. They always get their Man.
Slam Dunk Slam Dunk Slam Dunk.
Nothing but Net. Swisheroo.

So how many people did they round up to testify they the saw this doping?
Lots and lots of reliable witnessess I would hope. As a taxpayer.
Had plenty of time. No need for a buzzer beater lol.

Have they found the manufacturer of the steroids and put them out of business? I can only hope I guess.

I think that they did. The manufacturer was Patrick Arnold and the major distributor was Victor Conte.

I don't think that you can think about this case in money terms. The reason this case cost so very much is because the feds are up against a wealthy adversary. A poor man would have been much, much cheaper to prosecute than Barry Bonds. If you don't want a double standard, you've got to be willing to spend the money necessary to convict the rich.

I think that you can safely say that the Bonds case is a slam dunk so long as you remember that slam dunk attempts can be blocked.

She saw Barry take a needle in his belly button from somebody not his doctor. Bonds previously swore that he only got injections from his doctor. That Bonds statement is the basis of one of the perjury counts.

I wouldn't say that is a disaster at all.

I hope you're right. :)

Lie #1:

- Barry says he only got injections from doctor.

- Doctor denies giving injections.

Lie #2:

- Barry says he only got injections from doctor.

- Witnesses say he got injections from Anderson.

All adds up to two lies for the price of one statement.

Dave.

The part that's worrying is that the Ting testimony has revealed tactics by the government which could unfortunately be taken advantage of by the defence.

Or... rope-a-dope?

Lulled into a false sense of security, the defense rests after the prosecution put Ting on the stand.

Dave.

Ting has ethics problems which were outlined in Game of Shadows. He's faced accusations similiar to the Canadian doctor who was "helping" Tiger Woods.

Yes, definite rope a dope. Ting said stuff in 2006 and now he doesn't recall?

Now the defense is saying the prosecution didn't provide exculpatory evidence from the 2006 meetings.

I think the prosecutors just roped in Ting and this Arguedas who is a real annoying *****.

Both Ting and Hoskins are Government Witnessess.
And one of the is lying for sure.
Maybe both are lying who knows.
Defense uncovered the lie(s).

Will be interesting when Floyd and Greg are on the stand in the Lance Trial.
No contradictions there lol. Or will Defense have a field day yikes.

Excuse me while I pat myself on the back. ;)

... and Polish, what are you saying? That Bonds' high paid lawyers were outsmarted by some anonymous forum poster?
