I found the response to this thread interesting.

Perhaps there was some desire to bring up the past of someone else... but it's happened before in the clinic. I'm not sure why that's seen as some sort of taboo subject.

We have thread on Indurain doping in the early 90's, Levi Doping 10+ years ago, Lance's actions against Simeoni in year's past, Frankie Andreu's statements about Lance and many other doping incidents from years gone by.

I know Papp posts here... but he was a professional cyclist, and his actions ARE part of the history of doping in cycling. I don't see why discussing his actions is somehow taboo. It would seem to be the same as rehashing old doping rumors or news about any other professional cyclist.

I heard back from Joe. His sentencing has been delayed and it doesn’t sound like he has a firm date at this point.

I'm reasonable and that's not welcome on this forum but I like it here. I understand well what LA did so he's no hero of mine but I don't see him as that much more evil than any other doped rider. They all suck equal to me. I like to point out when jealousy, no righteousness drives the discussion. It can get tiring...

Most of the Lance fans here haven't heard of Ashended on read anything of substance on the doping issue. So, when you come on here and continue to spout the "most tested rider", "never tested positive", you just sound really stupid. Why are you surprised when people point that out?

i have never stated anything that would remotely suggest i think la is clean and yes blind fanboys are *** but so are people on the polar opposite of the spectrum who think la is the anti christ he is after all just an athlete. i am educated and know the same things all of us know on the subject of la and his past. i just dont get why he is any worse than anyone else.
