Do you buy Race Radio's argument that the federal investigation is being "influenced" by Lance and Fabiani? Has the paper served at the airport on Bruyneel caused you to reject that argument? Or do you believe that the feds are influenced by Fabiani and not influenced by Fabiani at the same time? Or that the feds were influenced by Fabiani three months ago, but are not influenced now?

We can argue forever over whether an Armstrong indictment was just a reasonable guess or whether it was the most plausible prediction, and we'll never know because the investigation was secret, but the "Borat-Fabiani-Expediency" argument has always been worthless.

Unless the feds are being influenced by Fabiani to get Lance ..... :)

Nice attempt to clog the toilet!

You are assuming that the Feds who served Johan are the same who stopped the investigation.

I thought this is the Johan being served thread. Why do you always bring Race Radio into it?

Be interesting to see how this plays out. If Johan makes an appearance on Baldy? Long way to travel to not be seen. I hope he’s ok. Probably best he doesn’t make contact with Lance because his phone might be under surveillance or a wire tap?

I noticed that the 500-600 tests mantra has hit Associated Press and is being published by many publications. I assume this was a preemptive strike? I hope it wasn’t premature.

Still time for Lance to pay his victims. He did after all embezzle a million dollars from SCA.

Race Radio is now telling us that the Bruyneel airport incident means that there is a federal investigation and that Lance and his buddies are in trouble! This is the same Race Radio that is telling us that Lance and Fabiani are "influencing" the federal investigation.

Are not the two positions at least the tiniest bit inconsistent?

Yesterday, my reporter friend did march up to the RadioShack PR people and ask specifically "where in the world is Johan Bruyneel?" My guess is that the answer (and circumstances involving their answer) is "complicated".

Seriously, I've gone to two different media people now (media people involved in the event). Not only can I not get an answer to the question, it's like an alien spacecraft went down at Area-51. The question itself seemed to disappear.

So you really are arguing that there are the "Good Feds" and there are the "Influenced Feds!"

Which elements are in control of the Attorney General? Is he "Good" on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and "Influenced" on Tuesday and Thursday?

My guess is that it is potentially a really good story and the reporters are trying really hard to get corroboration or confirmation. That might explain why you're not seeing talking or sharing. Just a guess.

This is actually a very very serious matter so I wouldn’t joke about it too much.

I wasn't joking. You really did make stuff up and fail to provide any source.

For the best part of 10 years Bruyneel has been procuring, distributing and administering illegal products throughout Europe. I’m hoping he hasn’t done similar in the US. He’s in a lot of trouble.

^exhibit #1 of unsourced claims.

True, everyone knows the mastermind of the program was this guy

Really, did you miss Tyler and Floyd talking about Johan's involvement in the team doping program?

This is the Johan thread not the critical analysis of RR posts thread.

I still think the UCI should step in. Doesn’t matter who served him. The fact that he has a long history with narcotics means he needs to be removed from the sport until he issue is clarified.

I understand why he’s not talking. He’s not in his country of residence and he won’t be able to leave until he satisfies the conditions of the subpoena. It’s a serious issue and his time needs to be spent on legal aspect rather than the ToC or making statements to the press. I don’t envy the situation. It must be very stressful. I doubt he can make contact with Lance because electronic transmissions are probably being recorded.

I would say that interesting Lance has stated “case closed” on his side the day Bruyneel gets arrested. Perhaps Armstrong is shutting up shop not for USADA but to avoid any questions that he dropped his former manager into a mine shaft. Not a stretch think Lance sold in a friend to save himself.

So Tyler and Floyd's GJ testimony is not a source? Do I need to footnote and provide the original article which it appeared?

I assume you have evidence that Bruyneel has not been involved in the performance enhancing drug trade in professional cycling? Do you have any unsoruced sources on this point?

Thank-you. That will be all.

Of course they are not the same Feds. The "Lance Investigation" is over, and the Feds involved there are doing something else now. Probably miss the Lance investigation though.

The Feds that talked to Bruyneel are either the Floyd Fraud Case Feds, the Whistle Blowers Case Feds, or maybe the Leak/Motion Case Feds. This is the first time Bruyneel has been to the USA USA since the Motion was filed btw.

But whatever the case may be (and it is certainly NOT a new Bruyneel Case it is amazing what the Clinic Slueths come up with yikes kidnappings and fake twitter postings and and and) the Feds most certainly ended their meeting with Bruyneel with a "We would appreciate it, Mr Bruyneel, if you would keep our discussion away from the press. We have had some ahem "issues" in the past as you so well know"

And when Bruyneel left their office, he sighed in relief, wiped his brow, and went back to the hotel for a new pair of Livestrong Boxers. And like the tactical genius he is - he is laying low. Giggling thumb upping probably too.

Are the Feds being "influenced" by Fabiani/Armstrong or aren't they? It is a relevant question.

Think about it. The top team director in the world paid his domestiques complete and utter crap. Why?

Because access has value.

Floyd wrote about this a little bit in his book. He rode for the best team on Earth during the 7-year-streak, and had to buy his own tires from a LBS.

Bingo!!
that's the price of "freedom" LA had to pay-someone "must go down" after such fruitless attempt to unvail the truth....

Half time is the least important part of the game.

You tell 'em coach rah rah rah.

"Velodude, cimacoppi, colm murphy - all you others too:
itsnotover itsnotover itsnotover. Only Halftime. Get back in there and kick some Lance ****"

C'mon, RR. the first half was a rout. The game is over for all practical purposes. The 3rd stringers are now playing. USADA may score a point or three - but the game is over. Turn out the lights, the party's over.

BTW, is your stategy the same?
Lance should settle to avoid going to prison?
Lance IS still going to prison right? Second Half. So he should settle. Save taxpayer money that way, right.

But we need to know whether the "Good" feds are investigating Johan or whether the "Influenced" feds are investigating Johan. Makes all the difference!

btw I sure don't think we will see Johan @ Baldy
