I didn’t see what pog said. And I’m not sure what this means. And while Vingo laid a beating on Ayuso yesterday, it’s still one stage of a stage race. No reason why Vingo can’t put on a display at a one day race on the calendar. It’s a worthy challenge!
I'm saying he did one year (22) with just about nothing but the TdF going on, that is what people have as reference, when saying he only peaks/focus on the tour.

One day races could be coming in the future, he has said as much. He was one big pull on Angliru away from wining a GT double last year, with 17 overall wins. I have very little respect for the narrative that he only has focus on the tour.

You may have little respect for it. But this has not been untrue. He is and should be very satisfied with the resulted goal

This is one of the most clear examples how the perception of fans and media can create a narrative that is just patently untrue, but that everyone believes. I can understand Pogacar tries to hold on to that narrative as well, after all it's good for his image and it's also a good excuse for why he failed two Tours in a row, but it's not true. Vingegaard is not a Tour-only rider, never has been, and probably never will be.

I hope he won't go farming in Dauphiné, better to keep more in the tank for the rest of the season.
It's brilliant, now isn't it? Pog showed allarming strength in his lean and mean version 2 upgrade with Milan at Strade, the opening of a long build-up for the Big Ones; and then Vingegaard responds in kind. All I can say is buckle up for one hell of a ride this season and I wouldn't want to be an adversary of theirs.

Finally. That wasn’t so hard was it?

I did it just because I like winning. The team also pulled the whole day today, and once again, it's super nice to pay them off today, and also for me, it's nice that I'm able to to win again today. And two stage wins is a perfect week for us, and now we just have to keep the jersey tomorrow until the end," he said.
Did you hear the question? He nods along and moderates what the interviewer went fishing for.

7th win of the season tomorrow with the GC; most of anyone and ahead of Pedersen with 6.

Between 2 and 4 wins waiting in Itzulia. Gotta overtake Rolf Sørensen before Pedersen does.
I'm not that sure he will that much on iztulia and even winning the GC.
The race doesn't have hard stages and hard climbs except for the last stage, it's always 6/8 min effort climbs.
Remco and Roglic have a better sprint than him.

We'll see. I think it's better to have Tirreno in your legs than Paris-Nice, so maybe he can even challenge Rogla and Evenepoel in the ITT. No doubt he takes off in the last stage again. His team will also be better than last year.

I expect a better TT by him on iztulia, i didn’t like the TT he did on monday. He underperfomed a bit, it can be a concern in the first TT of the Tour.
