6.52 w/kg, ammattipyoraily calculations for today. A bit high than the other calculation, but almost the same.
Lower altitude, much, much easier day.

This is a comparison to Joux Plane, not to Sastre.Did the mountain sink since 2009?
Sea levels have been rising by about 4.5mm/yDid the mountain sink since 2009?
No, but back then it was the end of a 7+ hour, 5500+ vertical meter mountain stage.Did the mountain sink since 2009?
Probably a easy day compared to 2009, but checking strava, arensman burned 3,912 KJ during 4 hours before pretano, it's a significant fatigue accumulated.Lower altitude, much, much easier day.
I would be very surprised if he doesnt race Dauphiné.I hope he won't go farming in Dauphiné, better to keep more in the tank for the rest of the season.

Vinge rode away from Bernal, Carapaz. Gaudu, Martinez... on much lesser climbs in Camiño every time he sneezed,
You don't have to have a cold in order to sneeze. A sneeze is not a cough. And you can even cough without having a cold.Just moving this over from the Evenepoel thread...
So... it seems he had a cold during Gran Camiño...

Wonder if he is 58kg already.![]()
Some calculations by frederic portoleau about TA.
" Kämna at the head of the peloton develops the equivalent of 470 standard watts for 9min43sec (3.43 km at 8.86%) . The leaders still remain sheltered in the peloton. Then Jay Hindley attacks, only Juan Ayuso and Jonas Vingegaard can accompany him. 1min30sec later, 6.2 km from the finish, Vingegaard countered and left alone in front. Since Hindley's attack, Vingegaard has just developed the equivalent of 464 standard watts (6.8 w/kg if 60 kg) for 7min38sec (2.95 km at 7.8%) . The Dane continues his effort and continues to widen the gap. After 8.1 km of climbing, he is 35 seconds ahead of Ayuso and Hindley and 54 seconds ahead of a group led most often by Tom Pidcock . He has just completed a block of 12min15sec at 459 standard watts (6.74 w/kg if 60 kg) . The Dane is assured of winning the general classification and the stage then relaxes its effort in the last two kilometers. It is located at 412 standard watts (6.05 w/kg if 60 kg) on this final for 5min20sec."
"Jonas Vingegaard of course achieves the best time of the climb in 27min17sec for the 10.035km at 8.06%. Its average speed is 22.15 km/h. Its estimated power is 6.65 w/kg (if 60 kg) or 448 standard watts."
For sure it will be 58 kg on Tour de France, but in the calculations, normally they use a standard weight, to compare the performances of each rider.Wonder if he is 58kg already.
Hmm, I'm not sure how early he eased up. It certainly wasn't as clear as on Croix de Fer.![]()

I also think he was on the limit in the last 2 km, just like on tourmalet.Hmm, I'm not sure how early he eased up. It certainly wasn't as clear as on Croix de Fer.
