Froome is only guessing. The team is saying that a decision won't be made until after the baby has been born. However since we don't know when that is, Anders Lund might be selecting the national team for Worlds before that.

I doubt we’ll see him back into action this season, and definitely not with a worthwhile performance. Just let him be with his wife and kids, and focus on 2025.

This, even if he is racing Lombardia later in the season, he is not going to beat Pogacar, specially after a busy September as a father of a newborn.

I don't think a Portuguese website knows more than Maarten Wynants, but you made it sound like it was set in stone, which isn't the case.

Still winning the race quite easily (maybe not if Kelder hadnt crashed). I suppose he's at something like 80%, lol. But tbf, the field is very weak and this Pologne route is perfect for him.

Yeah, field is very weak and his "main opponent" (his teammate) can't stay on his bike. I only see Ulissi beating him and that's a 5% chance.

He tends to become worse after TdF anyways, and with his difficult prep for this year‘s TdF, he even more has difficulties to maintain his shape, I‘d think.

You gotta admit it suits his looks though! Just like the polka dot in tdf suited him. He has the kind of look that can wear child clothes without it looking out of place! I adore it, he's cute!

My thoughts on him attending the WC kind of come back to the backlash he seemingly has had from the danish federation earlier this year. He claims he wants to be more involved and this would be an ok year for him to have a go. Next year would be better but doubt he is willing to travel for the WC.
