For sure, and I think he will deliver. I was astounded at how good he was last year given the crash. People forget how bad it was.The sport needs a strong Jonas Vingegaard at the TDF, otherwise it'll be a long 3 weeks.
Biggest question for me is Vingegaard's mind not his body. His body overcame much worse last year. I think he will be fine. The sport needs a strong Jonas Vingegaard at the TDF, otherwise it'll be a long 3 weeks.
Best purely based on level, sure. But the one I enjoyed most was Contador vs Armstrong.Yes, this sport really needs a good Vingegaard. Pogacar vs Vingegaard is the best rivalry the Tour has ever seen.
09 was such a good tour! I remember being so hyped for the rematch in 10'...Best purely based on level, sure. But the one I enjoyed most was Contador vs Armstrong.
Them riding for the same team made it even more epic 😅
LBL? Doesn't seem likely too me.Vingegaard i Bedring – Men Hvornår Er Han... | Feltet.dk

He missed 9 days of training, but he is feeling better now.
I think the best plan now would be:
April altitude training camp
LBL
Tour Romandie
May altitude training camp
Dauphiné
Tignes altitude training camp
Tour France
training camp before the Vuelta
Vuelta
Was he always planning on doing an altitude camp in April? If not I doubt they’ll add it nowVingegaard i Bedring – Men Hvornår Er Han... | Feltet.dk

Or maybe don't do anything until an altitude camp in may? Since they want to go for TDF/Vuelta double, I can imagine them being very conservative with his energy levels. So maybe not trying to have a peak this spring.Since he was not scheduled to race in April, i think the plan was only altitude training camp in april.
I don't think I've ever looked forward to the Dauphine as much as I do this year. One week of Pogacar vs Vingegaard without super high stakes followed by almost a month of overanalizing what it all means for the Tour. This is gonna make the old Froome vs Contador Dauphines look like it's Michael Woods vs Cristian Rodriguez the Route d'Occitanie. Can't wait!Vingegaard i Bedring – Men Hvornår Er Han... | Feltet.dk

I'll take pogi 99 times in a hundred when it comes to one weeks. It's going to be doom and gloom.I don't think I've ever looked forward to the Dauphine as much as I do this year. You overanalysing after Dauphiné? Surely that has never happened beforeI don't think I've ever looked forward to the Dauphine as much as I do this year. God damnit Toby, I was having such a nice dayYou overanalysing after Dauphiné? Surely that has never happened before![]()
Indeed. Even if he was 2 and half minutes behind. It was evident in 2014 that Contador would win the Tour that year.
He had a concussion after all. But why his team don't say what he has and wait almost 2 weeks to give us an explanation?
Thankfully we have plenty of doctors on the forum so you don't need to worryI'm not a doctor
Maybe you are right. It was really strange to see him out of Catalunya with "only" a contusion in his hand.Bc it's a bad look on Visma. I'm sure Visma would have liked to keep it away from public.
That being said - This is not a good news. Even small concussion can come back if you push it. I'm not a doctor but concussion and altitude also don't sound healthy
I said that at the time.Great job by the concussion protocol by the way. Teammates saying he was barely lucid while continuing that stage.
