All great points , it's sounds funny, but the problem at UAE is too many good quality, leader capable riders. Happens w lots of fresh food items, you get too much of a good thing you gotta give some away..or you can make it into jelly or can it..Ayuso on toast maybe..
Del Toro is holding his own..20th today's stage @51 seconds back and 17th on GC
Also another too much of a good thing situation, Landa put together a great, great effort today, who knows what a Remco would have brought to the race...
Nice metaphor. Going to check the fridge:)

Ayuso kind of shot himself in the foot, metaphorically speaking because if you look at Almeida he worked for pog when he needed too, which wasn’t actually that much. Still came 4th in the tour which is probably what he would have come as leader anyway and now gets rewarded with leadership at another grand tour. Ayuso should have just done the bare minimum 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was trying to write a post saying basically exactly the same thing 2 hours ago, (got stuck in perfecting hell 🤣). I haphazard either Almeida is simply more clever/sneaky or it's Ayuso being like all the other hot-headed impulsive guys. Most likely both lol.

I get a feeling discontent with Ayuso has brewed in the team for some time. I mean even Yates basically called him out in tdf. Probably a long time coming.

Interesting.
CyclingUpToDate, the pinnacle of news reporting! At least they provided a source this time. And going to that source, you'll find a way less overdramatized and clickbaity article.

From google translate, as my Spanish is not great:
"[T]he intention of both parties is to renew. Therefore, there are matters to deal with, something that will be done in the coming days taking advantage of the presence of the Italian Mauro Gianetti (the CEO) at La Vuelta these days."

The lads 21, I think you guys are being a bit harsh regarding his level.
Indeed. Almost every rider not named Pogacar has had some bumpy periods during their first few years as a pro/emerging star.

As if a 21 year old can't get better at positioning, teamwork, explosiveness, consistency and tactical awareness.

But pointing this out every time someone writes young riders off is a bit of a losing battle. :D
