Could UAE terminate the contract? They were happy Ayuso found a new team.

They had to agree with the termination, for which they wanted a buy out.Could UAE terminate the contract? They were happy Ayuso found a new team.
That happened to me once and two weeks later they said it was broken after all (hairline fracture of greater trochanter)No broken bones for Ayuso but in severe pain in the hip, hopefully just a bad bang.

UAE has also moved on, both parties happy. As long as all parties involved agree everything goes.
As for UAE being happy Ayuso saying no. Even after all this time we can see on who is still clingy. Ayuso has moved on, he loves cycling again.
Don't think Ayuso regrets moving team, so they are both happy.
Both are happy 😊@AmRacer
Whatever makes UAE sleep better, Ayuso is with Lidl-Trek now. Ayuso for sure doesn't regret saying no to UAE. In era on where everybody would like to sign for UAE. I guess due to the pay check and i guess automatically being a few percentage better. Not Ayuso, he rather took bigger pay check and kept true to himself, he rather remained Juanito.
The only problem with this secondary scenario is UAE told Ayuso to pack his bags don't let the door hit you in the as- on the way out.@AmRacer

This is sort of how it worked. When Juan asked about his schedule UAE said that they had him signed up for a Thursday night race in Albania and on Friday he was going to do a race in Romania at midnight and then Monday in the Bulgaria grand fondo..he got the hint..They had to agree with the termination, for which they wanted a buy out.
yeah, TTs especially are very brutal. in football it can be difficult to see if the CM is a little out of shape, because some of his team mates might be running a bit more to compensate. But in cycling, especially a TT you need to be fit and sharp af to be in the mix and if you're just a little bit off the boils it's going to look like you've been spending 2 weeks in Mallorca drinking beer and eating chips.Ayuso's TT at Bilbao shows how brutal it is at the top. If he's got problems still after the crash then he's just getting in the kms to get back in shape.
Have to wonder what the team management were thinking.Crucially, Bernard also revealed that the call for Ayuso to ease off was not a personal decision, but one made within the team. “It was Skjelmose who went on the radio today to tell him not to push his body and to think about the Ardennes.”
Is that up to the riders now? Whatever happened to doctors and the other experts that teams have a plenty these days?weeeeeeell probably they are happy to hear the riders looking out for each other and even spending times explaining things to random idiots online

But didn’t want to help Pogacar or Almeida? Now, I'm just guessing here, but could it be that the doctors had actually adviced Ayuso to step off, but he actually wanted to stay and help Skjelmose?
But didn’t want to help Pogacar or Almeida?
2024 Tour and 2025 VueltaWhat were those situations?
I know about the situations in the Giro last year, when Del Toro had the Jersey, and Ayuso was One-Eye-Uso.
And there was another situation where he had Covid - one of those you mention, I guess.
What was the other?
2024 Tour and 2025 Vuelta
I’m not talking about Ayuso leaving and refusing to help, I’m talking about him refusing to help while he was there present in the race. Which makes the story of him wanting to stay in order to help hard to believe when his past behavior doesn’t show that. He was plenty fine to finish 3rd on stage 4 in TdF and keep riding high placing but trying to avoid helping. Then had no problem stating he’ll help Almeida before sandbagging and then going for his own results.Okay, so in both the 2024 Tour (Covid) and last year's Giro (bee sting rather unfortunate place) he actually had reason for leaving.
And during last year's Vuelta the relationship with UAE was already bust.
