@Samamba did he sign a contract all the way until 2027 with LDS?
Yes, but a contract is just a contract.

I was just yanking your chain.Nobody did that ever. Don't believe everything you read in the press

It is however the second U23 talent they managed to piss off in 2 years time. Whatever the underlying reasons.
He seems to have an easier time in MTB compared to CX. Is he more of a diesel who needs a hard race? He's at the second time passage of the first lap and he's already opened up an enormous gap.
Probably a combination of longer climbs - and possibly, (and this won't be a popular view) less talent in Junior XCO, than in Junior CX, where a lot are future World Tour riders, which isn't the case in Junior XCO.He seems to have an easier time in MTB compared to CX. Yes, but a contract is just a contract.
Where to?
Got to be honest, I do not know. His raw power is so far ahead of everyone else, he is fairly explosive. Those should be ingredients to pummel everyone in CX as well. But apart from Hoogerheide, where a mechanical swung him from #1 to somewhere outside the top 10, he hasn't lived up to the expectations. He seems to have an easier time in MTB compared to CX. Every serious team should be banging his door down, driving up to his house with a truck full of money, just not UAE please.

Can quite confidently this is at least partly wrong, for Zomermaand is looking more likely to go to DSM instead. He is currently in a handsome lead in the Volta a Portugal, wiping the floor with Maranchon and Cubillas. Not too shabby.Based upon absolutely nothing I reckon Visma will have a spot for Ruud Junior Nagengast and/or Jurgen Zomermaand. They will have to protect the Dutch image in some way.
Anyone knows what happened to Gery at the Watersley Ladies Challenge?
DNFed while wearing the leader's jersey.
In regards of what is to come to the junior peloton next year, Enzo Hincapie lost the lead, and thereby the race, in Vermont yesterday on bonus seconds. He was in the lead after a strong prologue and subsequent stage victory the day after, but fell out of the top 3 in the ultimate stage to Burlington and therefore got surpassed by his teammate Peyton Burckel. In the light of flying Spaniards, I am very intrigued by Benjamin Noval, the son of, well, Benjamin Noval, who will be a first year junior next season. He has been ridiculously dominant on just about every terrain, including wins in Aragon and Besaya, which is almost a stamp of approval for a good career. He hails from MMR, the school of Samuel Sanchez.
He beat Kristian Haugetun by more than a minute in a half in the former. Haugetun is a Norwegian, and is the winner of the Peace Race this year. Aside from flying on the bike, he is allegedly a monster in the triathlon as well.
Definitely two major players to follow next year.
Visma has Graat instead. Although he's 21 while Zomermaand is 18 only. Can quite confidently this is at least partly wrong, for Zomermaand is looking more likely to go to DSM instead. Not some sort of mythical talent they would be losing out on, but one would expect Visma LAB would like to get their hands on any Dutch climber they can find.
