Result of the Women's GW:

Also... why are the youth races today? (Junior Men and Women, U23 Men, and - I pressume - U17 Men and Women)
"Seven Races in Flanders Fields, but Separated by Over a Month" just... doesn't have the same ring to it...

Here's a quick run-down of the various - non NC - races concluded, or held, yesterday.

Pays de Vaud (continued from previous post):
Bastian Petric won stage 2, while Oskar Louw Larsen moved into the lead.
Lucas Stevenson won stage 3.
Moritz Mauss won the final stage.
Louw Larsen won the GC ahead of Daan Dijkman and Stevenson.
Petric won the Points Jersey.
Jiri Rejzek won the KOM jersey.
And Malthe Risbjeg won the BYR jersey.

Junioren Driedaagse (yes, it is indeed 3 days. Though... with two half-stages):
Filip Smørås won stage 1, and obviously took the lead.
Samuel Gunnink won stage 2a, while Daniel Kubena took the lead.
Ben Morin won stage 2b.
Thor Verleysen won the final stage, while Rune Boden took the lead.
Boden won the GC ahead of Kubena and Peder Wettre Andreassen.
Kubena won the Points Jersey.
And Kubena also won the BYR Jersey.
(No KOM available)

Vlaanderen Women:
Paula Ostiz won ahead of Megan Arens and Jente Koop. A feat she may, or may not, have celebrated with tacos.

Vlaanderen Men:
Julius Løvstrup Birkedal won ahead of Georg Tjumins and Jan Michal Jackowiak. Fun fact; Julius only turns 17 in late November.

Anatol Friedl wins the Classic of the Alps in France 2nd Johan Blanc +19" and 3rd Roberto Capello +21". The italian wins 4 of the 5 koms. On the steepest climb Le Mont du Chat the italian attack and makes the difference but in the following descent Friedl and Blanc manage to reach the italian. In the last descent after the last kom the two grenke riders fall first the austrian and after the italian anyway Friedl easily manages to recover and pass Blanc and Capello and wins with a gap of 19" on Blanc and of 21" the team-mate Capello.
