... now only Ricco is missing (havn´t ruled out AC yet).
Could be a farce like the TdF 2006 or 2007...

But anyway, did Locke have a special contract, because Sky had no problem in suspending him.
Or they actually have a backbone unlike tinkoff.
Or Locke was crap so it was no big loss (but then again they did pull Henao).
It's still hilarious to read Feltrin using the contract fig leaf.
Nilsson said:Locke was a different case. A case was formally opened against him.
Henao is a a more similar case. He was pulled from the team - after a bull**** story, but in reality he had the same problem as Kreuziger: there might be problem and there might be a case. After 'thorough internal research' a.k.a. giving counter arguments in the proces behind the scenes and waiting on the sideline - Sky decided to let him ride again in Switerzerland.
roundabout said:No, Sky pulled Locke before UCI announced the case. Walsh got the word out end of September, the case was formally opened in December.
Kreuziger was never suspended by his team.roundabout said:Yes, and my original point was that there was nothing in their contracts that prevented them from being suspended by the team prior to any formal announcement about the case being opened.

Oleg Tinkov @olegtinkov 1m
We'll sue #UCI for non-disclosure that @Roman86_K had bio passport violations in 09/10 when we signed him in 2012.They knew, and hide this?
Oleg Tinkov @olegtinkov
I lost millions of euro for not knowing this issue once the contract was cleared by UCI. Now, they have to pay us big bucks for this.

Already at the first team meeting, where we sat in a conference room, Oleg Tinkov said: 'I do not care what you do, just do not get caught'.

Isn't that how USA Cycling works? Or doesn't work, depending on your point of view.thehog said:Can he just buy them and run the UCI himself?
neineinei said:Why didn't Oleg look at the ABP data and figure it out himself? Isn't it standard procedure these days to demand the passport data before you sign a contract? UCI has no business handing out confidencial information.
DirtyWorks said:Oleg will say it isn't his job and maybe it isn't since the UCI handles most WT testing.
The bolded is an interesting question. Yet, lots of information is quite leaky.
IMO, Oleg is busy trying to build a "super team" while the UCI's team sponsor revenue are collapsing. That puts Oleg in a great place to demand appearance fees. The UCI will want to stop that.
Benotti69 said:If Oleg sues UCI, i guess all his riders will come under scrutiny, does Oleg want that? do the riders want that?
i hope he sues![]()
