I read on the same forum they were testing for kindness and humility so he didn't take his recommend daily dose. This is why he flopped a strop when smoked on the line and proceeded to ignore his own child. Next time they need to let him take his "humanisers" so he can behave somewhat normally and at least acknowledge his own child's exsistance.

Lance being Lance. That's why we love him. His toolness always rises to the top.

By lack of a "like" button.

You're right, he probably wasn't tested at Texas 70.3 either.
Probably went slow just because he's old and sux now.

Appears the "Lance Factor" is getting into full swing.... pity the stink will just keeping following him regardless of the "marketing" spin. I hope Tri is paying him well.

Seven-time Tour de France victor Lance Armstrong is plotting to dominate a new sport, according to Inside Triathlon magazine. The 40-year-old cyclist is gunning for a victory at this year’s Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Who knew that the athlete, who’s been trying to shake off the stench of accusations of performance-enhancing drug usage, was a top-ranked triathlete in his late teens. IT says the “Lance Factor” is giving tri new cachet.

Nice post hog.

The other day you were mentioning your mate Bono...this got me thinking: who else in Britain speaks like that?

My mate Mick Jagger, my mate Paul Weller, my mate Johnny Marr, my mate Ringo Star...thehog is Noel Gallagher!

Bono and I are close. I like some of his music and he’s spent a lot of his life seeking the truth in the world. He also takes on politicians rather than doing deals with them.

Johnny Marr is of course a legend. Still plays some small clubs in North London on his acoustic with a few guest singers.

Noel Gallagher is no doubt the greatest living Englishman going around. Will call b*ll**** when he sees it. One story if I may. Noel is from Manchester and is a massive Manchester City supporter. One day Wayne Rooney who plays for Manchester United sent him a Gibson guitar worth around 5000 quid as a birthday present. For our American viewers Manchester City and Manchester United is a rivalry like the Giants and the Pats. Back to the story; Noel didn’t waiver. Wasn’t struck by celebrity. He took the guitar and painted it “City blue” and sent it back to him with a note to never ever mess with City again. You may be a nice guy but you play for United so don’t waste your time with crappy presents like this. Legend.

Then it must be true. Just like everything you read in the CN Clinic. :)

Slowtwitch forum has an over abundance of Lance lovers and apologists. It is the go to forum on all things tri.

No one has to date on that forum disputed the claim that your hero was selected for doping control at Galveston.

Armstrong's tweet to Rasmus Henning, who exposed the non testing of LA in Panama, was alleged to be pure Lance and facetious as this time he was tested.

Of COURSE he was selected in Galveston. But why not in Panama? Any comment on that lance?

Looks like Rasmus has found himself in the crosshairs of Lance. (lookout Henning the TexasTornado is coming your way) "I think we all can agree" that we know how this will end up for Rasmus.:D

If Lance does not do the training necessary for the marathon section of the tri then he stands no chance at domination.

Also his swim technique is a bit awkward in my opinion.

He could use flippers again?

Thats right,,,,Not sure where I read the story but he used Fins during a TRI. :( Any chance you have a link to the story where he used fins during the event?
I wonder if he will try to use a Snorkel next?

I think you are confused Lance with the famous Finman - http://www.everymantri.com/everyman_triathlon/2008/11/the-strange-and-untold-story-of-finman.html

Lance is many things but his swimming is quite good (I'm an ex competitive swimming) particularly for open water swimming. His running however, is AWFUL.

At best, he will go top 10 in Kona on or off the juice. No way can he win it.

Kindly wipe the troll drool from your chin. It beggars belief than any moderately sentient organism with anything other than mischief on their mind could venture such a comment.

Who ever that guy was that used the fins he still only completed the swim in 1hour and 30min which is about 2:20 per 100m. That means that dude sucked at cheating!

I thought theHog was being serious. He was just having some fun.

Anyhow I do note that LA’s swim times hold up (stays within the front pack) with the other top racers.

His marathon is a serious problem if he wants to be serious. I have said that forever on this message board and others. Many people on various sites said at one time he would be able to run 2:30 for the marathon. Not in a tri but at the marathon alone. I don’t think he can do that.
He needs to be able to do 2:45 in the tri to be up with the top. I don’t think it is possible either.
Like you said he can compete in the top but to win ….probably not going to happen.

Appears he offers more than a movement/functional strength training coach.

:)

:D Movement coach? He should spend his entire focus on trying to get LA into a real running posture and stride. LA's is from what I can see in the "video" clips an impossible running posture. Just my opinion.

I mean seriously if he is in need of a movement coach he can save some money and just buy some Xlax, or ask Tommy D. what he uses....
