Floyd has said he is not ashamed of doping in the least. He said more guys would admit to it if their names weren't dragged through the mud by the haters.

Now who could he be refering to?

If you guys agreed to have a more sophisticated approach to doping and not claim the likes of Armstrong are frauds and myths, then maybe he would admit to it.

But whilst you lot are spreading your hate around that's never going to happen.

Why don't you do what Floyd says and grow up?

But what does all that mean?

To me, it just sounds like "yeh but.. no but... yeh but... no but..."

Because we all love cancer.

You don't speak for fans of the sport. You speak for fans of Lance. Huge difference.

I don't think it's Armstrong that you hate. I think you hate fans of cycling. You know well most fans appreciate Armstrong - he's the closest thing to a living legend that is still riding.

Why do you hate cycling fans so much? I really don't get it.

Personally, I'm disappointed Lance is out of the race. I wanted to see him get his a$$ kicked. Plus, watching him squirm at the interviews would have been fun.

But you knew he was on good form in this race, dropping Andy Schleck. That's why people are so happy about him crashing out.

You're the real dopers. You don't want the best riders to do well.

Ha, so fans who want clean cycling are responsible for cyclists keeping their mouth shut. Awesome.

Did lance sounds like he was a bit choked up during his press conference? I kept waiting for him to break out in tears.... maybe it was just me?

Is he a broken man?

Why do you not want him to ride this year? If he loses again, which he probably would, he won't be coming back. Why don't you want him to ride, as most fans of the sport would like to see? Why do you love all this scandal and smear instead?

I want it because of what he did to Contador for six months last year. If you want to see smear, read the exclusive interview in the Telegraaf / Het Nieuwsblad. He talked total trash against Contador and the Spanish press, and he himself lied about everything, including the Time Trial wheels, etc. Lance is proved to be a liar on that situation alone, as was Bruyneel, who said at first that Contador was wrong, then quietly told Marca that Contador had bought his own wheels. So neither of those guys are believable either.

Oh the tosser on Eurosport UK just described Landis as a liar under oath, and a cheater, which is fine, but said people can draw their own conclusions from those two things. He didn't say anything about the possibility that the allegations are true, or that just because someone lied to protect himself on an occasion (like Bill Clinton did), that doesn't mean he can't speak the truth.

The blood passport system is cleaning up cycling. I don't know why you want to rack over things from 7 or ten years ago. That was a different era when doping was just a normal part if you wanted to succeed.

Why are you not mature enough to understand this?

I was trying t remember a situation I read once. His ex-wife Kristen(?) was asked by someone, I believe the person who wrote his books, for advice on how to deal with him. The ex said to never ever make him feel like he's cornered, because that's when he fights hard.

You're right. I don't. I want him to retire from cycling for good after being exposed as a doper, and to take Bruyneel with him. And I want him to take Riis and Ferrari and Valverde and a whole bunch of other folks, too.

Be careful, you might just be left watching some old woman on a schwinn

Eurosport live coverage of ToC just started - Carlton Kirby and Magnus Backstedt commentating. Kirby totally dismissive of Landis allegations - hardly surprising given Eurosports sycophantic drivelzine 'Planet Armstrong'. Lots of 'disgraced rider Floyd Landis'. Backstedt much more measured in his responses.

Don't be such a baby. That's nothing more than the usual rivalry between tour contenders. Yes Armstrong is known for that. But that's totally different to this nonsense and scandal - that should not decide who is allowed to race.

I think you really need to take a look at yourself.

Yes I listened to it. They are fans of cycling and therefore they'd rather see riders race than talk about this gibberish. That's very different to you guys. And whether you like it or not, Landis does have huge credibility issues.

Carlton is a tedious everysport cretin wheeled out by eurosport when they can't find someone who knows anything about the sport - if in doubt, carlton will will a few hours with inane crap.

Got it. So all the junk Armstrong was putting into his vains to win bike races could have gone to a sick person who couldn't afford their medicine. Is that what you're saying?

Exactly how I saw it. Magnus was pretty neutral, with a wait and see attitude. The other guy made me curse
