If what you say is true, then I still have no idea what the hell you're talking about. While I am shocked at the revelation concerning the use of nukes by pro riders, I am relieved that Christopher Lloyd is not ashamed.

The nuclear weapons analogy is a common defence of doping - I'm surprised you haven't heard of it.

Edited the name mistake.

So, everyone is screaming innocence, trashing Floyd completely as a crqzy man in need of therapy, and not one of the accused has yet inidcated they will sue him for saying these things. If he is slandering anyone, sue him for damages and to order him to shut up. Otherwise man up and admit the doping and cover ups.

sue him ? for what ? what does landis have that would cover the basic legal costs, much less an award for damages caused by his claim ?

FL has no credibility. What is needed is others named to corroborate his story, lets hear from the bus driver- neutral, no vested interest; if he backs Floyds story then it would have credence.

DangerMan - clearly you don't know who Carlton 'RentaGob' Kirby is, do you? To refer to him as a 'real fan' or give him any credibility whatsoever as a serious cycling commentator is to admit you've never actually listened to him. Still, you're earning your money tonight.

Might I suggest that, instead of ad hominem attacks, you actually address the substance of Landis' claims - not by emulating Carlton 'talks entirely out of his ****' Kirby and crying 'liar' - but by addressing the specifics of just why Armstrong et al couldn't possibly be guilty of what Landis accuses them of. Or do PS not provide that in the script?

You guys are like a pack of feeding frenzy parahanas.

Lance spoke today and set the record straight his reputation is much more credible than Landis. Vaughters denied it too and UCI guy slammed him. It is all just his word against theirs now so there is nothing here. Move along you worthless bottom feeder.

Depends what country you're in.

Everyone here knows who DangerMuppet is. If you want to feel good about beating up on yet another incarnation of this fanboy, by all means have at it.

Yes, I caught on to his verbal stylings but lack the spirit of enterprise to jostle with him. Hence the Ignore.

There comes a time in a young man's life that one learns that arguing with a baboon who is more interested in constantly laying out a series of red herrings is largely an exercise in self-defeat. It's either that or my tolerance for trollkraft* is rapidly diminishing.

*kudos to whomever coined the term.

Floyd Landis lost his credibility a long time ago.

Yes I am seriously trusting him on this matter.

UCI donation was $100K according to paddy in this interview.

To pay for bloody testing apparently.

"we'll accept donations from anyone willing to give us money" ain't that the truth...

the money trail should be enough to tell the tale-

Just listening to the McQuaid interview in which he airily claims that Armstrong made a donation in 2005 - yet under oath in the SCA hearing in 2005, Armstrong referred to the donation he made several years earlier - now, whose the liar McQuaid?

lemond speaks on his blog

I believe most of Floyd Landis’s statements regarding the systemic corruption in professional cycling. I imagine from my own experiences that today he is paying a heavy price for his honesty and I support Floyd in his attempt to free himself from his past. I hope that others- fans, riders and sponsor’s embrace this as an opportunity to bring about positive change in the sport

I've been waiting to hear what LeMond would say - measured, and, given his, to say the least, fraught, relationship with Landis, very positive. I'm sure that LeMond will bide his time, given what I'm sure he knows (if he doesn't have a gag order from the Trek settlement...)

I've been listening to Kirby for years - he's just a very straightforward normal cycling fan, obviously appreciating the greats of the sport. That is perfectly normal. Magness has made the same points about LA if you have been following their ToC coverage. Most of the riders like him as well. Look at Cav's big smile whenever he sees his boyhood legend. That's normal.

If you have read any of my posts I'm not even saying that Landis is lying, though he obviously has no credibility. I'm arguing that this was a normal part of cycling at the time and we should understand that it was a different era. It's time to listen to Landis - who cites the haters as why more riders are scared to talk about it -and have a more sophisticated approach. I've you not heard him talk about this and say he is not ashamed of doping?

What posts are you referring to? You have only made two.
