She was being pressured by several people and in some cases being "tricked" by a person who claimed to be a friend. That same person then passed the recording around friends and then it was leaked on to the internet.

LeMond then again did the same with Landis thus establishing a pattern of phoning people up under false pretenses, recording them and in some indirect form of saving his business re: Trek/Armstrong.

You're having a right go about Greg lying but in a link posted yesterday you were having a go at Lance fans for using the excuse of Greg lying as a means to defend Lance. At that time it didn't bother you one bit. Fast forward Lance's downfall and now you come full circle.

Anywit I was considering asking this before but decided against it. He did race for a while, some open-wheel stuff - I saw one of his races that was before one of the Winston Cup races - I think it was called something like Formula Ford series or something like that (not overly familiar with open-wheel racing). After that, I checked the results every now and again, and my vague recollection is that LeMond tended to finish about mid-pack. (I did not follow the series regularly enough to know if this is the best he did or not.) I think he only raced that series for a year or two.

You appear to be holding differing sets of standards towards two sets of people.

I’m mealy applying the same standards to both Greg and Stephanie. Both lied.

However one sort to ridicule via secret recordings with the intent to cause embarrassment and harm. The other left clearly distressed and drunken messages on an answering machine.

for someone who wants to stop this - you know what i am talking about - your actions suggest otherwise...valid points, which were forgotten about when you started using the terms above, were that greg lied to SM... and then later the Greg phone call and case was brought up by me -

Additionally, Floyd once recorded Andrew Mesick.

How did he do it? He placed the recorder on the table in front of him, in full knowledge of both parties.
