Although the CONI did not invite the national team of colombia for this years Babygiro, it is a colombian cyclist who seems to be the best climber. Winer Anacona Gomez (Caparrini) just won stage 5, a mountain finish at Campo Imperatore.

not really visa problems. political problems within the cycling federation and different colombian teams

El motivo por el que nuestro país, no participará en la carrera, es porque no llegaron las invitaciones del CONI (Comité Olímpico Nacional Italiano). Por tal motivo no se pudieron hacer los trámites de visas ante la embajada italiana con sede en nuestro país, que exige dicha invitación para que los ciclistas pudieran viajar al continente europeo.

A 22-man break got away after 20km and soon got up to 15 minutes. The leading group got away with 10km, there were some hills, but I confess that I have never been to Canada so I'm not familiar with the terrain.

Stage was won by Tobias Ludvigsson.

There were some climbs, but finished in a reduced group sprint. McCarthy made it in the front group. There was a crash, but the 3km rule was applied.

Tomorrow is an uphill time trial, 11.7km average at 3.2%. First 8km seems false flattish, then steeper, then a bit of a downhill with the final km quite steep.
