Imagine ruining your season in such a meaningless race in Australia

Australia? Isn't it Landa's crash you're talking about?

I kinda assumed it was a jibe at Jancouver's constant complaining about how meaningless it is to get injured in Australia, but not other places.

Sorry for the shameless Dane-plug, but, damn! Byriel Iversen! Now there's a pro-debut of the interesting:

1: Gets in break-of-the-day - check.
2: Earn enough points for the KOM - check.
3: Voted most aggresive - check.
4: Crash and break your collarbone - errr… check...

---

And there's been a bit of a route-change in today's race in Challenge Mallorca, because… well...

It looks like Wellens ate all of Buchmann's plates this winter. Buchmann hired Sven Hannawald as nutrition coach, it seems.

Lotto Soudal having an eventful start to 2019! Congrats to Wellens.

Not that eventful compared to *cough* another Belgian WT team.
They thought they had a win, that win got removed, now they actually have a win.
And one of their riders just rode the Namibian TT championship, for some reason… (He's not on the results, probably because he's Belgian.)

Campenaerts is in Namibia training for the hour record.
