It's not that unusual for riders in the break to be guys I have scarcely heard of (I think the only name I have noticed before was in a comment on Filippo Dignani as a putative cousin of Phillip Deignan), but I think this is a first for a European .Pro race, in that I have only heard of 2 of the 5 teams represented in the group (and I would probably never have had my attention drawnn to Work Service had Rebellin not been with them).

The guy who's as tall as a fern (Bregnhøj) won the GC in Olympia's Tour, committing the terrible crime of leapfrogging his teammate (Vinjebo).
The final stage was won by Jesse Kramer of the Jumbo Devo team, ahead of Danish rider M. Pedersen from Tølløse.
