Agree, and coming from the other side, instead of the 5 km drag to Mont Poupet proper, you can do By just before Mont Poupet and make it a harder finish. This would be a fantastic MTF to use in Paris-Nice, shouldn't be too far east to fit in a route.

Jesus wins ahead of Pinot, who had attacked with Martin in the final after Bou and Co. was caught.
Did Bou get company (again) before getting caught?
Azparren and some French riders overtook him at some point.
The last live update I saw before PCS decided to get drunk was that he'd attacked solo.
As mentioned before, for reasons unknown to man - and especially this woman - there were no live images...
There wasn't live images from GP Chambéry either, and I'm sure there was a stream last year.
Because Calabria is at the other end of the country from where TOTA is, so you'd still need to catch a flight to combine the two. Would be about as easy as doing Strade and Paris-Nice back to back.Just saw the results of that low level Italian race. WTH did Bardiani do???
Also don't get why there weren't a few more WT teams with Tour of the Alps starting the day after.

It is geographically very close to Sicilia, so the idea is obviously to have teams combine the two ( makes sense as these are basically the only pro races in southern Italy right now). However, I think that would work a lot better if it was raced the Sunday before Sicilia rather than the one after it.Oh ok, not the smartest idea then to put that one day race on that spot no? Won't even have a decent field then.
