Bagioli had to dig deep to beat Hirschi in the sprint.

Expected Aranburu to be faster but going to the front before the last corner was not a great move.

Strange tactics from Ineos in the second group - Ganna had to ride on the front as Turner is quick in the sprint - Unless, Ganna rides on the front there is no hope of bringing back the the leading four.

Aranburu was on his limit. That pull with 3km to go from Bagioli was so strong. He knew he didn’t have his sprint so wanted to surprise them maybe. Bagioli played it perfectly the last km.

Piemonte -
Bagioli & QS do it again! Chapeau! Lefereve is starting to think maybe he should have threatened to fold the team earlier!
Hirschi shows again good form for 2nd place.

imo it was a good race to watch. Sure, the moto was a bit too close, and in the end some idiots crashed while fighting for 5th, but who cares.

Paris-Bourges - 4 man break doing a good job. Rolling downhill to the finish now, so Démare better get his men on the front.

Isn’t the ultimate win to be in the top 10 without winning the most top 10 without a win competition??

Yes, but you need to be second in order to be the rider with most top-10s without a win and not even win the most top-10s without a win competition.

Did that make sense?

I think that might make you an ultimate loser instead.

Surely, the "Ultimate Loser" would be a guy who managed to finish last - or even DNF - in all races he start.

The "winner" of the "Most Top-10s Without a Win" competition is simply the Ultimate Almost-There guy.

No, cause that guy would never have been in a position where a win was a possibility, unless there were only a few riders in the race.

I think not being in a position to win makes you a pretty big loser!

My apologies to guys like Tim Declercq!
