IMHO De Lie just did a hard training stint under race conditions. Like Küng yesterday. Old school approach. Result was interesting at 2nd sight. Hence why he closed down that gap with a full effort still.

I guess at either Dwaars door Vlaanderen or Gent - Wevelgem he races more sensible for a result. Before mainly following wheels and looking where it leads him at Ronde van Vlaanderen & Paris-Roubaix!

Well just catching up with today's entertainment - chapeau Mozzato & Arkea! Piped Groenewegen who seemed to run out of speed or went from too far out. De Lie (Arnaud) as always involved and Milan (the elder)'s lead out man Consonni a 4th spot.

Strange tactics by Wanty not making Van Sintmartensdijk bury himself after De Moeren. They could have saved Mihkels for the circuit laps.

By the way, Mihkels is progressing a lot. He was really strong both on Nokere and yesterday.

Finishing circuit with it's many corners -

Last year was won by FDJ's Pithie who has since gone on to greater things. Lapeira who won yesterday is down for the start as is Sam Bennet, Perez for Cofidis and no less then 4 Brits riding for FDJ.

I think Van Mechelen won Rucphen.

Couldn't quite understand the commentators...

Edit: PCS says Dorussen.

Decathlon is impeccable.

Its similar to Lotto. Their youngsters needed time but now they're breaking through.

On the other hand, the field in these races is the lowest of the lowest for a pro race ofcourse, but Lapeira was miles above the rest this weekend so it says something.

Arkea not in the top 10 here is special. Mozzato completely collapsed in the last 100m.

Also Israel maybe wasn't the smartest not making Blackmore pro already giving the amount of UCI points he scored already (riding for their pro team), with Van Asbroeck they're doing the opposite. Scored 155 UCI points in 2 days while being the only pro in his team.
