It seems that Stinky Pits won the MTF in Istria.

Nice, he deserves a 2nd 2nd chance :p, as his last 2nd chance was just ****ed by the UCI, he was clean there. He has class and I think he deserves to ride for at least a PCT.

Oh, okay!
Now of course the big question remains how... the heck... did Vandevelde... know that?:p

Maybe paid him as a callboy the night before :D

BTW, Valjavec second today, behind Sinkewitz.

And Schumacher won Algier Trophy 1.2 today, so victories for Sinke and Schumi, nice. :)

EDIT: Organisers says it was Pedersen in Algier.

From EspoirsCentral:

Stage

Patrick Sinkewitz (Meridiana Kamen)
Tadej Valjavec (Sava) +1"
Silvio Herklotz (Stoelting) +3"
Jan Polanc (Radenska) +5"
Radoslav Rogina (Adria Mobil) s.t.

Overall

Matej Mugerli
Radoslav Rogina +7"
Patrik Sinkewitz s.t.
Silvio Herklotz +11"
Tadej Valjavec +17"

Herklotz is 18, I think. Rides for Team Stölting. Did well (top 5 or so) in the prologue and both hill finishes. Polanc is a U23 too.

Herklotz is a very big talent, also does/did cyclocrossing. But road amazingly last year as a junior. Hopefully he can continue growing, as Germany could use a rider like him.

Wooo, great! Despite all odds LEOPARD TREK CT is a really great team and was very successfull last year and keeps delivering! I think Silvestre was injured for much of last year, so he never really took off. Congratulations, I think this is a pretty strong field too for a 2.2 race

he is at ceramica flaminia - fondriest with pedro paulinho, amaro antunes and antonio barbio.

he and barbio are still 19 so i wouldn't expect much from him this year to be honest.

Rafael Reis is on his third year as U-23, turns 21 this year, so far he only showed good form on the prologue of Volta a Portugal.

That's nice, much better than being trapped in the portuguese scene. Let's hope an international calendar can make him a good rider.
