I've actually been looking a bit around for literal big name riders. I guess we have a winner! :D

No worries with long names:
Duber Quintero, Team Colombia, won the 1st stage in Langkawi. A Breakaway of 5 riders was given up to 7 minutes, which was too much for such a short stage.
At the end, Quintero attacked his fellow escapees 1.5Km to go and won solo.
His first pro win, after some promising amateur years.
He's 23.
He will have the leader's jersey and sprints' as well.
Brammeier was second (and will wear KOM jersey) and Clarke 3rd.

Great stuff. 6 man teams will always give attackers a bit more chance in stage races these days.

Too many races, didn't follow the action. Perhaps others did. Anyway a good win for Vachon.

Good to see Parra already riding well in Europe.

Nice win for Vachon, quality rider who always delivers in these kind of races.

lol, he did beat Gautier just like the dawg.

Looks like it was a big group coming in.

Actually the break was caught in the last km (bardet and di gregorio were part of this break) by a largish group driven by QS for Meersman, but the timing was a bit of to give Gianni a proper sprint arrival.
