I thought it was his biceps at first, but he was pointing to an odd spot if you’re trying to point out your biceps, so maybe it was the stripes!

It's a bit less intense than the uphill prologue in the Oberösterreich Rundfahrt. A shame that the Group Hens-Maes Containers team isn't riding this race, cause the did pretty great on that one,

There were several riders I thought looked good with a few 100 metres to go... and then they started dropping down the leaderboard.

Some of the riders also stopped sprinting just before the line. Steimle came close at the end, but Groves takes his first win of the season.

This is what happens when you stay on your bike - Groves has started five stage races and DNF'ed 4 because of crashes ( and he was at fault ) - He's just as fast as Dainese and possibly a touch quicker - Dainese was competitive in Vuelta stages which is where Groves should have been in his career - Anyway, Bike Exchange had to think 'long and hard' before renewing his contract - Hopefully it's onwards and upwards from here.

A prologue is probably the closest thing to rowing so I don't think it's unexpected he did well today.

I´m absolutely convinced the final sprint will be decided between Bol, Hodeg and Sagan. Should be a good battle to watch.
