Countries with actual climbs have things like that.
Germany also has the Bergmeisterschaften, but that one seems be a lot more important in the u23 ranks and not among the pros.

Nothing beats the NK tegenwindfietsen i.e. the national head wind championships.

No racing bikes allowed.

So for three teams PCS somehow got mixed up who was actually racing, and for the Eddy brothers it took quite a while to reach the final answer.

Anna Kiesenhofer not only won the Austrian title last year, but apparently she also finished 4th in the Suisse one.

Another interesting race today is the Giro di Toscana. With start and finish in Pontedera, just east of Pisa. The finale features a double ascent of the famed Monte Serra, well known as a training climb for cyclists residing in the area around Lucca and Pisa.

He's actually only ridden it three times during his career (2006, 2007 and 2016). But it's no wonder cause the course doesn't really suit him. Do you also expect Pierre Latour to ride all races with "Tour" in the title?

YES! (Exceptions can be made when multiple of them takes part at the same time, because otherwise I can't really claim to be against cloning riders.)

And all the Matteos must do the Trofeo Matteotti.

I may be missing something but I don't really see what Aarhus has to do with that. Even if I live there

I am wondering, does every single Dane actually live in Aarhus? And the rest of the country is just... scenery, for the Tour of Denmark? (I imagine, that's when all the Danes have to leave Aarhus and put themselves up at the route's roadside and pretend they live there. )

I would love to see them go up Rampe Verte and then join the road they are taking this year up ahead.

Are they doing it by choice or the renovations they did on top of the Citadel (I believe they were finished last year) make it unviable to keep the original route?

Don't know the exact reason. The organisation claims that the finale is more spectacular than before. We'll see.

Slovakia stars this eveningh with a short prologue of just 1,6 km.¡ totally flat,, go and come back with a hard corner in the middle.
Sagan is penultimate to start, and Froome one of the last, with Lusenko just behind him. (no propblem for Froome becouse is a minute difference for just 1,6 km, he he)

Trolley railways and cobblestones are over there, but I think they miss them except in the corner...but that means a narrow path of about 1,5 metres.
