I know it's early in his career, but is Remco already one of the luckiest riders ever?
He had troubles with allergies latelyWhat happened to Gaudu after Itzulia?…
Very strange.
I hoped he could go for the win today, when I saw him in P-N and Itzulia. Sad story. Was he sick recently?
That's what they always do. Decide to let him go. I remember last year in San Sebastian, Yates was in his wheel and suddenly, out of the blue, decided to let him go. At LBL as well, Powless is in his wheel and suddenly decides to let him go. Skujins at San Sebastian also decided to let him go. Lutsenko and the rest of that group at the WCC... I think he hypnotises them, because i can't come up with a different explanation for it.I think this will end up a dress rehearsal ITT in prep for the Giro for Rem. It's just a matter of what distance he fancies to go for. Really hope some other riders try to make a race of it, and not everybody just look at each other and decide to let him go.
It doesn't matter how good a rider's positioning and bike handling are, they're going to be negatively affected by crashes at some point. Pogacar's run since the start of his career has been so good that it can't just be put down to skill. When has he been lucky?
I know it's early in his career, but is Remco already one of the luckiest riders ever?
No? It’s cycling, sh*t happens. Can't we just cancel and postpone the race? Next Sunday?
It was his fault. So not really bad luck. He was very lucky for not ending his career there.Lombardy 2020.
Lucky he didn't die in that crash a few years ago.I know it's early in his career, but is Remco already one of the luckiest riders ever?
What did that have to do with luck? He made an unprovoked mistake and rode off the road.Lombardy 2020.

This. The only way for Remco to truly 'win' today is to make a massive statement, just crush the field. It's the only way he can show that he would have been Pogacar's match today; if he's got the legs it won't matter if they want to make a game of it or not.I think this will end up a dress rehearsal ITT in prep for the Giro for Rem. It's just a matter of what distance he fancies to go for. Really hope some other riders try to make a race of it, and not everybody just look at each other and decide to let him go.
You just hope that if they replay the women's race that it will make Remco crash out too. Admit it.
How could I forget about Lombardia 2020, shame on me...Lombardy 2020.
I hope it was clear i was kidding. In all honesty today i didn't want for any of them to crash out. Was just hoping for some nice racing.
The mistake last year wasn't Powless not being able to follow the attack, it was the rest of the peloton allowing Quickstep to set up the attack in such a predictable way. It wasn't exactly a surprise attack. That's what they always do. Decide to let him go. I remember last year in San Sebastian, Yates was in his wheel and suddenly, out of the blue, decided to let him go. At LBL as well, Powless is in his wheel and suddenly decides to let him go. How do you mix up the best cyclist of the moment with the biggest choker in cycling history?I always mix them.
no, not all, he had a terrible crash that slowed him down for over a year...I know it's early in his career, but is Remco already one of the luckiest riders ever?
San Sebastian last year and (maybe) LBL were won on power, but we must be in a weak era of cycling if the other favorites that let him go in his biggest races were Toms Skujins and Alexey Lutsenko. That's what they always do. Decide to let him go. I remember last year in San Sebastian, Yates was in his wheel and suddenly, out of the blue, decided to let him go.
