Not much to do if you not in good form. He has to regroup and think about how he should continue with the season and even over next season, I believe. Knowing he probably has declined a bit... how he can stay competitive and win races. Although, not as frequently anymore. If he really wants to continue racing.

I think the peleton was not much smaller than this with about 20k to go last year? Could be just pure attrition making the selection this time
