Look at me, I am a Vegan! Can I persuade you to become one too?

A lot of people in the health industry hate me cos I say what needs to be said.

A lot of people in the bike industry hate companies that offer lifetime frame warranties cos they make what needs to be made.

Stoned stone throwers are a dime a dozen. People with enough passion and balls to stand up and offer better solutions are a dying breed.

don't change man, don't change a thing. I am not about to go vegan because I am lazy and fixed in my ways and don't give a rats, but that doesnt mean you aren't the most readable poster on this forum.

I bet you are the kind of guy who assumes all short people are from New Zealand. Which is ok by me and not far from the truth

There are more people than ever offering what they consider to be better solutions than current assumptions. (whether you personally agree with their individual philosphies is irrelevant in making that observation).

I was not aware that any of those dying breed types had their own personal photographers follow them around so they could post pictures of themselves on the Internet and pat themselves on the back for being a dying breed. I think Tom Cruise has his own personal photographer. Be careful that all that fruit does make you as crazy as he is.

You know what BroDeal, I see you throwing a LOT of trash at people in here.
And I don't see Durian getting personal, insulting and negative towards others.
They have never built a monument to a critic.

But they've built a few for comedians, and that $hit was funny.

Was that from this Australia Day just gone (Tyalgum Cup)? I didn't race, but I still did 132km though.

# Almost 20 000 hits on this thread. Pity the mod's had to change the original title giving objective weight loss and health advice as it seems a lot of people are genuinely interested. Pity the mods had to make it personal and childish.

#Not sure about the heel drop cos Im riding up a 20% grade with 1.5 hands, in the saddle and using a 39/21. It could be my normal pedaling style but probably not.

#It was a fun ride in Radelaide a week ago.

#Im on the sunshine coast for a couple of weeks. Anyone up for an easy spin?

If you got problems with the moderation take it up through pm or take it to the about the forum subsection. But shut up about it in this thread

You were warned not to create new threads for what was in essence the same campaign.

I gave you the option to keep this thread (plus alter the header if desired) or create one new thread that would be the container. Nothing petty and personal. Rather the opposite. I have no beef in this. I gave you full control and a fair choice.

Weeks ago.

You yourself chose to keep posting to this thread. No-one changed anything.

Then you started to create new threads again.

At that point we merged, and we changed the title so it was more reflective of the content, which had drifted a bit from your original one.

Your core message is putting yourself up as a poster child, a leader. You are using yourself, plus all the name-dropping, girl-friend, photos, km cycled, life-style, etc, as the persuader. You mention veganism a lot, but I only see an occasional nutritional advise post, exercise advise post, etc. A hell of a lot of "I am a vegan - Look at me with.... - Look at me and what I did... - You should follow my lead".

So if you think the title is childish when it exactly mirrors your whole approach in this thread, thanks for finally getting the pov of many here, that you yourself are getting in the way of what could be a great core message.

It's gone well beyond objective weight loss and health advise. Seems you missed an ace opportunity (so far), and plenty of us were trying to get that through to you. As the mod that offered you the option to address your thread and title weeks ago, total control, it is bizarre to see you ruin it for yourself, and then whine about what we did to you.

You were given control, and ruined it yourself, so take responsibility for it, rather than blame it on us.

Thread title stays.

I am posting this here so people know that your portrayal of the mod intervention wasn't quite how we got here.

As Barrus said, if you got problems with the moderation, take it up through pm or take it to the about the forum subsection.

Buddha was fat and content. So content he didn't need to exercise.

Simply . . . . Neither fatness or thinness allows one a fruitful life.

A 20% grade might explain that. Really...20%??? Where?
