Voted for Kristoff, a monument win, a great TDF, varois one day race wins and a beast in RVV. With a little bit of luck he'd have been on the podium in Paris-Roubaix. Kwiat, Valverde and Contador are the other guys that you could pick.

Best set of classics results by some margin.
Best overall results in the GTs.
Not forgetting how good he was on the dirt and cobbles in March.
Valverde head and shoulders above everybody else.

Well, outside of here, that is.

Best results in stage races (and GTs - I rate a win over a 4th and 3rd place) : Alberto Contador:rolleyes:

Quality over quantity - Valverde may have won more races but a big part of them were **** smal Spanish races
And Contador was at least as consistent as Valverde.

Stage races are warm ups for the Tour.
Quintana and Nibali had better results than Bertie in the GTs on your scale.
You talk quality then completely ignore the classics.

But you would say that, wouldn't you?
Me? I really don't like Valverde at all.
I hate to admit that he was the best.

Like I said, outside of here.

You don't like Valverde but you hate Alberto. I know you by now. I don't ignore the classics, but what quality wins did Valverde get in the classics? No monuments, most notable win is probably La Flèche. Haha. Yes, Valverde had better results in the classics. Contador had better results in the stage races.

And stage races are not warm ups for the Tour.

And Contador beat by far the best field in any of the 3GTs. Including your beloved Chris Froome.

Why would anyone target races like Paris-Nice or Tirreno-Adriatico by that logic of yours then?

No, I actually like Bertie, but like I've said before, I follow the sport not individuals.

Bottom line is top of the UCi, CQ, PCS rankings agree on who came out tops.

Prep races? Are TA and basque that? Don't give me that ****...

If catalonia wasn't screwed over by weather he would have won that too.

Piti was pathetic in the tour btw. 4th in that field isn't something to be proud off. If he had won lombardia then yea but he didn't.

Best rider doesn't mean most points in a ranking.
