Tomorrow is the big day!!! Any chance of echelons tomorrow?

No. tune in with 5k to go.

Who are you kidding? Every cycling fan will at least watch the part in the desert.

Indeed. I Tom will be right.

What time is that?

Chance that I will be able to watch it is very small unfortunately. Work until 14:00, pick up my parents from the airport at 15:00, bring them home, pick something up nearby and then back home. I guess I will listen to the radio ;)

This is the first time in my (short) life i don't give a **** about the Worlds.

Gaviria for the win
It would be an irony if Gaviria wins, becoming the first Road World Champion from Colombia on the sprint discipline. :)

I'll just pretend be asking why Sagan isn't riding in the rainbows as reigning WC. With this WC I refuse to go past the stage of denial

Wind has risen to 8m/s now .. and still 35c. Maybe its gonna be fun.

it will be echelons and the best part is, everyone knows it.

Which means only the calmest heads (and hearts) will profit.

Is 15 knots, 25 kn per hr from the NNE enough for echelons in the desert? I could stay up all night counting traffic lights or race fans... nah.

so they put all other wc races on Eurosport but the men's road race on the red button on bbc1. Looks hot out there, ice packs everywhere.

Why would anyone plump for the Kirby option when there is an alternative ?

It's barely started and Cyclingnews is already dripping with sarcasm.
Love it

Former Sky rider Kanstantsin Siutsou has moved to the front and started setting the pace with Great Britain riders sitting just behind him. That must be so he can help out Hutarovich. There can be no other plausible reason. None.

The most interesting thing so far is the scenery, and that's only because it's a bit different.

Hutarovich must be feeling pretty good today :D

Do not forget Siutsou is currently Cavs' team-mate.

best bit about the "race" so far was when the screen went blank and "temporary fault" came up
How is this race different from every other WC?

So many tears here.
