We all want a clean sport. Some of us dont accept BS PR from teams. We want more than spin. We call it what it is, BS, because it has no substance and Sky who started out with great fanfare of declarations of being clean have done nothing to disprove what lots know about the darker side of the sport. In fact they have done the opposite when hiring riders, DS and doctors. Then they realise that modern communications methods have bypassed them and they are regurlarly called out for what appears to be another USPS, except worse, with multiple stars on their 'mariganal gains' and guys like Mick Rogers riding better than when he was on a program under Ferarri, so it necessitates a clean out, but even then they still have big questions over current staff.

Nothing has changed in the sport. Nothing no matter what Sky/Brailsford say, no matter what JV says, no matter what Millar says. We can see it hasn't. The jerseys change that is all.

You voted 30-40% of the peloton doping.

You only post in Sky related threads.

Obfuscation.

If Jimmy is obfuscating it would be to compete with the other obfuscators, like its always been.

Im saying Jimmy didnt start this, unless you think the forum was clean when he started?

But Jimmy has taken it to a new level, forcing other obfuscators to lift their game. A veritable arms race of obfuscation!

You need to give Jimmy some credit. He's an iteration better than the deniers on the Wonderboy threads.

Yes, he still holds onto the "sufficient proof" B.S. But, he does it within the context of acknowledging most of everything else and calling out some weak posts.

IMHO, he's going to be disappointed when the Sky doping scandal breaks.

What I find there’s been little explanation from Rogers or Saxo on his form.

Maybe the hired him for other reasons?

But very odd that no one has come out and explained why his form has dropped 20%.

I would assume they hired him for his points, no more no less.

As for the performance drop off, no idea. Maybe he isn't motivated anymore. Would be odd coming off an arguably career best year, but stranger things have happened.

Strangers things have happened like changing doctors (see Phil Gilbert and Tom Boonen)

They did... You obviously missed it... He was 'injured' over winter, and his primary fitness target is July.

Or maybe he estimated it?

Same thing, different spin.

May have bought him for the “intel”…?

Possibly, but probibly not in reality. Firstly they didn't buy him, they hired him... He was a long term transfer target and a favorite of the new sponsor too. AFAIK, his role is to replace Niki as 'Captain de Route' at the Le Tour. Niki will be in that role at the Giro instead. I assume Niki is ready to wind down the career, and the designated replacement is still a few years experience short of the role.

20%? How did you calculate that (assuming that you didn't just make it up)?

Don't do it Hog!!! It's a TRAP!!!

You won't accept inference as legitimate reasoning and yet you are ready to go to battle over quantifying form. The dude is slower. I think even you can accept that as a legitimate observation.

If he were replicating whatever program they are running at Sky, He'll be red hot in June as Sky's GT team seems to be able to peek for 8+ weeks at a time. Either way, let's wait and see what happens in July.

Don't ignore the part about the extraordinary, super-duper longest peak ever seen in human performance that Sky's Grand Tour squad somehow manages though. Which excuse will you pull from the Sky Random Excuse generator for that behaviour?
