Le Mànie has allowed significant developments before Poggio, and it keeps endurance as the most important quality. A good alternative to Le Mànie closer to the finish would be La Crocietta(?) at Alassio. Civezza is even closer, but with Cipressa immediately afterwards, it would be too selective imho.
Yep, I think that's the same I suggested in my answer to SafeBet. Seems like it's called Colle di Caso in the posted link to the profile in my post.

You cannot have Sanremo both keep sprinters in the mix as well as enable action before the Poggio unless you get rid of the Poggio.

Maybe there is a world in which you add Le Manie and have the Cipressa as the final climb in which case you force teams to drill the capi.

Pompeiana is frankly way too hard for what Sanremo is about

Agree, I have this great save from PCM 2006 where they have added Pompeina as the last climb as you play a few seasons, and that is definitely not one for the sprinters, is it now lads!
And yes, Im now in 2019. Maybe I should get a life..

Special bonus for viewers in US mtn and Pac time zones. Because we’ve started daylight savings time but they don’t change in Europe till Mar. 27th, we get to see more of the race—or don’t have to get up as early and still catch the finale.

unfortunately, this would but much more useful for watching De Ronde or Roubaix since there is exciting stuff happening hrs before the finish.
