MVDP just did an insane sprint from 250m out. You just gotta tip your hat off to that. Deserves it.

One thing about Pogacar is that his strength makes every win against him all that much more meaningful. MSR has often been exciting but this has probably been the first edition since like 2013 to be genuinely epic.

For sure and Pogacar should have known that @4+ k of being gapped and solo chasing had Ganna's legs just smoking!! Great finish.. And I had to wake up in the middle of the night to catch men's and women's event..last 20k woke me up!!! And now to body slam me... Listening to what Contador thinks!!

mvdp masterclass in that sprint. pocagar looked to give himself ganna's draft to accelerate into, mvdp spotted this, but with ganna on the other side of the road, ganna would also have to close the gap if mvdp launched first, which negated pocagar tactic. great improivisation by mvdp.
