Nevertheless, you keep quiet in the PRR forum. A mod clearly mocked Andy with his sig and you said nothing. Say what you think in the right place, not here.Afrank said:Think of it this way, if one of your favorite riders was constantly mocked and insulted in almost every post about him, would you still think of it as all just a bit of fun? I'm willing to bet it would greatly annoy you, as the constant insults to Andy get annoying to me at times.

Christian said:You are absolutely right and said mod is also well aware of that. So if he didn't purposefully bait to get a rise out of someone, at least he acted gravely irresponsible for a mod. By posting what he did he consciously accepted the risk of other users reacting strongly to it. Those users would then have to be banned of course....
hiero2 said:And, why should the standard of responsibility change from a normal user to a mod? Are you saying the rules should not apply to mods? I couldn't agree with that - the rules are for everybody.
^^^^^^^^ This!18-valve. (pithy) said:moderators lead by example. Ferryman seems to understand this a whole lot better than netserk. When i see mods dance around the edges of the rules and incite flame wars, like regular users might, that, to me, reflects poorly on a site. Mods have to have leadership qualities, as they represent the (forum portion of the) website. At least, that's typically how it works.
Granted, this site is a bit of a joke to begin with, so it's not that important, but yeah... It does look "unprofessional."

However I start a thread about CYCLISTS and it gets totally overtaken by people talking about every sport they can think of.
Can we please at least keep threads in the clinic about cyclists limited to just cyclists?
Thank you

JRTinMA said:You banned ChewbaccaD when he admitted trolling why not Granville? Why the double standard?

JRTinMA said:So I have a license to troll as long as I use a smiley face. Thanks for the tip *******.
