Dumoulin is one of those TT specialists remember. When you have a field of cheats it's a bit weird to blame the winner for cheating another cheat.
How many more times do you want to make the same argument?

Is it an invalid argument?

At the root of this lies a deep hypocrisy.
Speaking of hypocrisy what exactly was Nibali and Team Bahrain’s goal by helping Sky chase down Valverde? Didn’t Nibali complain just yesterday about modern cycling tactics and Sky’s iron fisted control of racing? Weird stuff.

sigh. Dumoulin is 27. Thomas has 32. You would think by the time a rider reaches 32 we would expect performances like today. Dumoulin has been proving himself since the 2015 Vuelta. Last year's Giro he showed enormous strength and recovery. Thomas has never shown what he did today. I am neither British nor Dutch. I am just an objective observer who relies upon facts, logic and reason to draw my conclusions.

I'm afraid it does debunk it. The discussion is about wispy thin super climbers not being able to out run a huge TT guy. The fact that he has been doing this for 3 years doesn't make it less suspicious.

TomD is not a "huge TT guy though". Yes he is good on TT, but he is smaller than Froome and G.

He's not a wispy thin specialist climber....and yet he left them for dust. Got a gap and they couldn't get back up to him at all on the incline. Insane.

TD is 2Kg heavier than Froome (Wiki). Less than 3% power difference. You are barking up the wrong tree.

Actually wiki says Tom is 69kg and Donkey 69,9kg. Don't know which are true, but they are more or less same weight. Froome is 1cm taller.

His climbing time was par Bardet, Nibs, Roglic and Quintana. 50s slower than G and 30s slower than Donkey. Check the facts first.
50s slower than G, who is shorter than Tom, but weighs the same. But no, out of everyone in the peloton Dumoulin is the "insane huge TT guy" who "leaves them for dust".

I did note there was a concerted effort to make it sound like Tom D was Marcel Kittel

"Like I said this morning, the heat has never caused me too many problems. It was because of the crazy rhythm laid down on the last climb by Team Sky, they were very strong," Nibali told reporters on crossing the line. "I went into the red for a moment and I didn't manage to recover. It was a very high rhythm. There's not much to say."

Vincenzo Nibali.

the dude weights the same as G. Thomas and only 2kg more than Froome at peak weight.

You make it sound like he is some Indurain type 80kg guy. He isn't. Stop your hyperboles

Well, if you check his posts in last few days, you will immediately see that his posts are all about trolling, shifting goals and whataboutism. He is this years decorated Brit troll and I have no idea why the mods are not doing anything.

In a nutshell this Tour.

You've proved my point. He climbed as fast as specialist climbers

Which he has done for the past 2 years. What is the point?
Yup. I think it is pretty clear that TD has demonstrated for quite some time his potential. CF not so much ... he just transformed over less than a summer.

TD is basically the real story of what CF would like to be ... an extremely good time trialist with good recovery who, with some weight loss, is capable of winning certain GTs.

I think a lot of people have simply stopped caring about the CF transformation. He 'always had the potential' LOL :p
