Not the most memorable, but Pecharroman back in 2003 ripping off Heras's legs at Catalunya and Euskal Bizikleta was pretty notable. As was his disappearance.
I forgive Pecharromán because he totally ripped off Lefevere.

Mentioning Pecharromán's brief moment of glory reminded me of this classic performance from a 26-year-old neo-pro who was taken under the wing of Davide Rebellin and taken off the road by Gerolsteiner for being too dodgy.
was not de bonis' old man found with a heap of viagra?

Anyone remember Emanuele Sella in the 08 giro?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTkI3EDR0Og

I sure do! He won me some nice dough, had him on my Fantasy Team and that year he earned me some good points, sure he got popped but there was a clause that only points would be removed if a rider tested positive from a test at that race, he tested positive after the race in an out of competition test. Of course the year after that rule was changed but I got my MONEY!

Laiseka Armstrong Ax3 2001. Dont think a clean rider could have gotten within a minute of them there.

We will remember it as Froome's Sestrieres.

I wouldn't say it was as shocking as Sestriere because Froome has shown that he is capable of such a performance since the 2011 Vuelta. I think it should be remembered as the first time that the Froome dog was completely unleashed whilst he was the undisputed leader during a GT.
