Don't Breathe (2016) about a group of thieves who break into one house too many and have a surprise waiting for them. Watchable but pretty predictable for the most part. Average at best.
Can't believe you left out Tim Roth and Susan Sarandon!!! I enjoyed watching Gere's character caught in lie after lie and he just sort of rolls w it..not many tomatoes rotten or otherwise for ArbitrageArbitrage (2012) - Whether playing a good guy or a bad guy I've always found Richard Gere pretty unremarkable as an actor, in this world of corrupt finance thriller he's playing a despicable, amoral bad guy. The movie itself is pretty good initially, but then it gets really twisty and turny and comes to an unsatisfying conclusion. I thought for sure there must be a sequel, but there isn't. All in all unless a Richard Gere fan I would skip this one.
The Babysitter's Seduction (1996) - Hilariously bad TV family drama, it was so unintentionally funny I just had to keep watching. Some parts and over-the-top acting reminded me of Showgirls (1995)... the funniest part actually was seeing Clair Huxtable (Phylicia Rashad) playing a wise and knowing detective. Talk about a miscast...
Tom looks a bit weirder with that face surgery. Like someone who resembles the former Tom Cruise.............Watched Mission Impossible 7..and it was.. a couple of situations where Tom Cruz is in the company of a woman and it's played that he is so good looking, just so dashing that he can aggressively grab a random woman at an airport or public place and they are so taken with his overwhelming handsomeness that it's all good.. Just a little much... as normal tons of good action sequences..
Tom Cruise is one of those actors I know I was supposed to find sexy, but I just never did. He can be a decent actor when the role calls for it, think the only time I actually truly liked him was in Born on the Fourth of July. But otherwise he's just always been this supposedly sexy, boyish-faced action box office hero - not that his bank account is complaining. He always fills the seats.Tom looks a bit weirder with that face surgery. Like someone who resembles the former Tom Cruise.............
Yes that was a good one. He was also good in Magnolia,Collateral, Valkyrie and Oblivion. Never got into the Mission Impossible movies nor Top Gun. Saw one Jack Reacher movie which was okay as was Minority Report and War Of The Worlds. He was miscast in Interview For A Vampire which was a dud compared to the book.Tom Cruise is one of those actors I know I was supposed to find sexy, but I just never did. There's also The Last Samurai, I remember enjoying it quite a bit when I saw it years ago. Not sure what I would make of it now but, I think Ken Watanabe was/is a heckuva lot sexier than Tom Cruise, especially in the samurai outfits.Yes that was a good one. I'm sure I've seen this as well as The House on Sorority Row (1982), can't remember a thing from either. I'll have to rewatch to refresh my memory, I'll let you know how long it takes me to turn it off. lol!Sorority Row (2009) an attempt at an 80's style slasher movie that is probably one of the worst movies I have seen for a while. Needless to say, the fast forward button got a workout. Best part was the end credits..........
Dang, you are really hooked on Netflix!I watched this in the middle of the night and I couldn't stop until the end. Netflix over the last couple of years has really had some great similar things..

Just looks like I am a Netflix fan..I have streaming services that take the most popular shows on Netflix and post them.. I was a fan of Netflix when they sent DVDs to my mailbox in NYC but it's all been downhill from there!!! and the only thing I hate more than scanning for a long time through Netflix and not seeing anything I like, is paying for Amazon Prime Video and it's just horrible.. and when I am traveling, super super annoying is that anything that is any good on Prime video is not available to download to a device.. and as long as I am complaining.. when I get a room and the sign says " free wifi" they don't mean to watch YouTube or Prime video or anything else.. Hotel and motel WiFi speeds make it so trying to watch video is impossible.. and when you travel in the US you learn the menu including drinks at Chilis, Applebys, Buffalo Wind Wings and all the usual suspects.. I would much rather eat an in room sandwich and watch Parks and Recreation than go to the bar at Olive Garden.. Amazon Prime used to be next day and you didn't have to check to ensure that item is eligible for free returns.. I am one of millions that think that a bigger Amazon is not good, even if they sponsor bike racing..and I am normally anti mega corporations but Wal-Mart has done a lot for cycling and bike racing in Bentonville..Dang, you are really hooked on Netflix!
I loved Netflix in the early 2000s when they had just about every classic movie I enjoy, nowadays they have just about none. Same with Amazon Prime, they mostly have B-movies nowadays as well. At least Amazon still has free shipping for now...
Regarding movie watching I really miss not being able to find quality movies and paying for them all in just one place like Netflix used to be. Nowadays you have to subscribe to half a dozen different streaming services because each company/studio has their own, which is a hassle and can get pretty pricey.Just looks like I am a Netflix fan..I have streaming services that take the most popular shows on Netflix and post them.. Netflix produced or purchased documentaries on food, drugs in this case the invention and explosive sales and use of e- cigarettes type devices is absolutely amazing..

This is excellent
I take it you're a bit older - besides Blockbuster (loved it when it still existed!), do you remember going to Tower Records and just flipping through the vinyl records and checking out the artwork on the record sleeves?
I remember rain or shine situations were a new alarm had a release date or concert tickets and I would camp outside Tower Records parking lot.. because it was that important to me.. I also remember movie lines as a kid w my parents.. seeing really really long lines to see movies.. ET and Raiders of the Lost Arc..had huge lines for weeks.. I have seen photos of people waiting in line to see Jaws or The Exorsist..cultural phenomena.. Can't imagine what it was like to get a ticket to 1960s Beatles shows..I waited in line to see David Lynch's Blue Velvet.. Fool I was..I take it you're a bit older - besides Blockbuster (loved it when it still existed!), do you remember going to Tower Records and just flipping through the vinyl records and checking out the artwork on the record sleeves?
Good times, good times they were back then.![]()
I had a Tower Records just up my street when I first moved to the States, it was very easy to just walk over and flip through all the vinyl old and new.
